excerpt from Crossing the Ameri-Con

You were the dial tone wrung from the form letters of the pulse of the promise of Tomorrow

Rhinestone rivulets gleaned from a damaged vector

At 2.97 radians per second

Receiving light in a reservoir of oil

Especially tasked with nutrient-enriched soils

The cause of all human conditions traced to a chromosome

Amber-melon pouring over the boulevards

Bisecting a liver with a caregiver in shape of a heart

You opted for birth in a no-choice scenario

You cut your tongue on your own sharp words

You spilled semen from your clitoris did you not

You killed a star in monochrome the papers pissed on it making you famous

You missed out on a seemingly seamless alibi flirting with the fine print

You swallowed LSD looking at the LCD display waiting for a time frame

You swallowed when others followed I then swallowed you whole

Like water the taste was negotiated by its role
